In translations we differentiate between A, B and C languages. The A language is the native language. The B language is a language which the interpreter speaks almost as well as his or her mother tongue. The C language is a passive language. Though the interpreter understands this language perfectly well and can render FROM it, he or she would not interpret INTO this language. | |||||
